The Kenya Equestrian Grand Tour
Ten to twelve nights in the saddle across the Mara, Laikipia, Lewa and Samburu, connected by private charter coordination.
The fullest riding line we design in Kenya: a private villa arrival in the Maasai Mara to set the pace, the substantial Laikipia riding and camp chapter, a conservation and horseback chapter at Lewa, then a Samburu finale mixing equestrian days, camel work, wildlife and cultural time, with helicopter coordination where operationally feasible. Private driver, 4x4 and charter logistics run underneath it, with an equestrian pre-trip assessment before anything is confirmed.
Day by day
1–3
Maasai Mara — Wild Hill
Arrival into an exclusive-use villa. Assessment rides, wellness hours and drives set the pace of the journey before the longer riding chapters begin.
4–6
Laikipia — Borana and Riding Wild
The core riding chapter: highland country, guide-led riding in wildlife areas and a fly-camp night where conditions and permissions allow.
7–8
Lewa Wilderness
A conservation and horseback chapter on Lewa, with the option to continue by fly-camp. Non-riders take conservation experiences and walking.
9
Charter north
A coordinated private flight into Samburu country, arranged on request and subject to operational confirmation.
10–12
Samburu — Ol Malo
The finale: riding, camel days, wildlife and cultural time with Samburu families, with helicopter coordination where operationally feasible, then recovery before the flight home.
